An example presented here is this Great Grey Owl flying through a slight snowfall, as witnessed by some white background streaks.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III with the superb 500mm f4 lens, handheld @ 1/1000, f7.1, ISO 800 with a +0.7 exposure compensation.

Just three modifications here. Cropped for composition purposes, application of Photoshop's Auto Tone for colour/contrast correction and slight Unsharp Mask filter.
