After photographing Lake Louise and waiting for possible evening colors with little luck, I had packed my camera gear for the day and was waiting to head back to our campsite. It was at that point vibrant colors seemed to explode. I took a couple of images with my Pixel 7 and then began getting my camera gear back out. By the time I had set up the tripod and mounted my camera, the colors had faded greatly. I was really glad I had taken a couple of images with my cell phone otherwise I would have missed capturing the best of that evening's color.
