Milky Way Reflections At Lake Herbert

Lake Herbert: Banff, Canada

While camping at Lake Louise we decided to try some astrophotography. Lake Herbert was a short distance from our campground so that became our location hoping to catch some reflections in the lake. We had hoped there might be some opportunities for the Northern Lights but no such luck during our visit to Canada.

It's the first time I see a milky way image of the Banff area. So strikingly impressive and poetic. You may want to go a little further to Yelloknife for the Northern Light. I can imagine that series of photos will cause a big swirl on Pbase. ~VVVV~
