Humpback Whale Tail

Busselton, Australia

We had a great whale watching boat trip.
Thinking the whales would be some distance away, I took the 40-150mm (80-300mm equivalent) lens.
Only for the whales to be just a few metres from the boat, so I couldn't fit the whole whale in the frame 😢

I imagine the same rules apply as here in Qld....boats cannot go close but Whales can come close to boats...it's an amazing feeling when you see them in real time.
