Change In the Weather

I haven't been in the woods in over three weeks
I've been "under the weather" as people say
The man and The Lady were very concerned
But, the weather changes and here I am
Waiting like always for the man to quit fooling around and hurry up
Baldr~

Note from the man: It seemed like he'd had a stroke and I thought we'd never walk in the woods together again.
It turned out to be Idiopathic Vestibular Syndrome (you can look it up).
First week he could hardly walk never mind eat. We'd help him outside and he'd spend all day asleep in the grass. Quite honestly, we thought it was the end.
But with rest, and food he could handle, he slowly began to improve - and now appears fully recovered.
I'm quite happy to report that this past week he's sniffed out a bone in the bushes, chased a fox across the yard (not too fast) and is happily eating apples fallen from the tree.

Oh no, poor boy. It must have been frightening for both him and yourselves. Relieved to see him better and out in the woods again.

Happy to see he's recovering from a scary situation. He looks great out in the early fall woods.

Ah yes, vestibular. Very scary to witness. It very often can leave them with a head tilt but he looks pretty great here. You keep on trucking Baldr!

a captivating image, conveying positive news about his recovery...the ordeal must have been concerning, especially for Baldr himself..

My goodness, what an ordeal for Baldr, and his humans. I am really sorry to hear of all of this, but hugely relieved he seems to be back to being Baldr. Good news!! Super shot of him in his domain. V
