Palouse Landmark Fence

An iconic sight in the Palouse: a fence of wagon and plow wheels, welded into a patchwork of circles.
Both functional and artistic, it tells the story of a farming past while offering photographers endless compositions.

Photographer’s note: My eyes were drawn to the large iron wheel rim, framing the scene,
like a picture within a picture, focusing attention on the old trees standing quietly in the far background.
