A Ride on the Funicular

Connecting the banks of River Danube and the Buda Castle, the Funicular (Budavari Siklo in Hungarian) has been in service since 1870.
It was completely destroyed during WWII and meticulously reconstructed in vintage style.
We had had a bus ride up to the top of the hill from Viking.
After walking all around the area we decided to take the funicular down and walk across the bridge back to the boat.
A very different experience than the funicular we took in Lisbon.

You got the best spot on the funicular, and got the best shot, with no glare also. Very nice depth of field. ~VV~

Yikes, that's pretty steep! I don't think we ever took the funicular during our three years of living in Budapest, maybe because of that! V.

You covered a lot of territory with one point of view perspective on the rails very nice resolution sharp.
Sound like you had a decent hike getting back to the Viking ship.
