Gresham Palace

As we walked over the Chain Bridge I was very taken with the beautiful building at the end of the bridge.
Gresham Palace is a Four Seasons Hotel at the end of the Chain Bridge on the Pest side of the city.
It was built in the early 1900’s.
At the end of World War Two it was taken over by the Red Army and turned into army barracks.
When communist rule ended it was turned over to Budapest city and eventually turned into a luxury hotel.
