This recently fledged immature Red-headed Woodpecker came into our backyard suet feeders following a parent. It didn't actually land on the suet feeder, just observed the parent.
The parent would get a full bill of suet and fly to a distant white oak tree and scrape the suet onto the limb - then the three immature fledglings would eat the suet.
I did get some DigiScoped images of the distant white oak tree, but the details are poor; will try for better images.
