A german gun emplacement in Normandy. There were five casemates in this installation. The garrison surrendered to British troops early on June 7. The gun was still intact as we saw it. Being 80 years old and in the weather, it was not likely to be fired again. This was a 150mm gun originally designed for naval deployment.
