Spiraea japonica 'Magic Carpet'
A compact, low-growing shrub that reaches about 2 feet tall and spreads up to 3 feet wide. It’s known for its vibrant foliage that starts red in spring, turns golden-yellow in summer, and finishes with rich russet tones in fall. It blooms with clusters of bright pink flowers from June through July, attracting butterflies and adding a pop of color to borders, slopes, or containers. This variety thrives in full sun, is drought-tolerant once established, and requires minimal maintenance—just a light trim to encourage reblooming.
