The A939 carries the Lecht Road high through the Cairngorms and is a bell-weather of winter conditions in this part of Scotland - heavy snowfall is usually heralded by announcements that the snow gates on the Cock Bridge to Tomintoul road are closed. You can just make the road out, snaking through the mid-ground before disappearing off the top right of the frame.
