La cathédrale de Strasbourg présente de nombreuses gargouilles sur sa façade gothique ornée. Ces gargouilles fonctionnelles servent également d'éléments décoratifs. Nombre d'entre elles sont des figures grotesques et démoniaques, contrastant avec les représentations plus sérieuses de saints et d'évêques que l'on trouve ailleurs dans la cathédrale. ~VVV~

The Strasbourg Cathedral features numerous gargoyles on its ornate Gothic facade. These functional waterspouts also serve as decorative elements. Many of them are grotesque and demonic figures, providing a contrast to the more serious depictions of saints and bishops found elsewhere on the cathedral. ~VVV~
