The environmental concerns include: Destroying the ecosystem of Grand and Glen Canyon, declining water level in Lake Powell, the potential flooding of Glen Canyon, the sandstone formation in Lake Powell might submerge under the dam, and the loss of the native species....etc.

Nicely captured and it looks like the lake is near full pond. The declining water levels over the past couple of years have really changed the lake greatly and not for the better. This capture conveys a wonderful vibrance with the contrasting geological colors and vivid blue sky. VV

Such a quantity of retained water can only deeply modify the biotope and the biocenosis of the place. Here,this nevertheless creates a magnificent landscape of azure and ochre. V
