I am hoping Helen can help me identify this Washington, DC statue.
I thought it was in front of the Supreme Court building but I can't find any information on it.
We will be attending a No Kings rally in our town today.
Great shot of this statue. This some info i found by use Google Lens: The 1935 sculpture "Guardianship" by James Earle Fraser on the east side of the south entrance of he National Archives in Washington. V!
a potent figure, artfully portrayed...the DC military parade is somewhat ominous in what it might portend, and a clear sign of birthday boy's perverse stance on democracy..
Like the title I have not statue to post but I am not watching the parade either.
Waste of money.
Nice shot of the statue not one you expect in DC,
Sharp image nicely placed in the frame.
