Chemainus is a famous mural town on Vancouver Island. There are 50+ murals, most of which depict the colourful past of Chemainus, the history background and the immigrants' experience.
"Lest We Forget" by David Goatley
This mural depicts the heroism and sacrifice in World War One. The artist's son and a friend posed in rented uniform to depict the soldier at right, carrying his wounded officer.
