Omomyid Microchoerus erinaceus, 18 mm jaw with three teeth (P4, M1, M2), Upper Eocene, Totland Bay Member, Hordle Cliff.

Microchoerus has cuspate teeth suggesting frugivory.

Microchoerus, an extinct genus of omomyid primates, possessed distinct dental features. Their teeth included a single paracone in upper molars and premolars and a simple paracone with a well-developed hypostyle in the P3. Additionally, Microchoerus species varied in the presence and development of structures like the mesoconid and hypoconulid in lower molars, as well as the presence or absence of a mesostyle on the M1 and M2.
