One of two peony plants out in our carport. This one is quite old and hadn’t bloomed much since its traumatic transplant into a huge planter a few years ago. Thursday morning they looked a bit droopy so I watered them, and by late afternoon there were three blossoms open, with many more waiting to go, but unfortunately only one bud on the younger, volunteer plant. After such a long wait, I was happy to see the old plant once again thriving.
