Nice Easter Decorations for the ocasion

The charming Place de l'Ancienne-Douane takes its name from the Koïfhus (Old Customs House), which has stood there since the 15th century. In the center of this square, the Schwendi Fountain, erected in 1898, is crowned by a statue created by Bartholdi representing General Schwendi (1522-1583). A persistent but erroneous legend claims that the latter introduced the Tokay grape variety to Alsace.
It is accessed via the Grand-Rue, the Rue des Tanneurs, the Rue des Tripiers, and the Petite Rue des Tanneurs.
