It provides drinking water for San Francisco.

During a 20 mile bike ride on the Calaveras road, above the reservoir.

Love how the rain has greened up the hills. I really miss the quality of the drinking water in the Bay Area. Down here the water is expensive and tastes so bad most of us have to buy bottled water or put in extra purifications systems.
