This location is about a mile from my house where the town limits of Blacksburg borders Montgomery County. I have little doubt that sometime in the future these beautiful fields will become a new neighborhood filled with houses especially with the housing boom going on here. We are losing our rural atmosphere due to the push for more and more home construction. These open rolling fields are no longer used with the only hint it was farmland being the distant barn, silo the the old abandoned storage building.
