Was keeping an eye on our backyard feeder area to see if the Sharp-shinned Hawk might return (see 'previous), when I spotted this Red-shouldered Hawk on my next-door neighbor's maple tree.
Our songbirds certainly know the difference between the two as they pretty well ignore the Red-shouldered; they're gone with the sparpie.
