View from Pacific Highway to Pacific Ocean. High humidity creating some flaring of very bright lights. You can see the Solitary Island Lighthouse over the ocean. The star trails are attenuated by the atmosphere at very low angles & truncated near the horizon by cloud in the distance. Actually I had originally planned this to be a 3 hr star trail but cloud was starting to come on from the LHS, so I had to abort the planned full length image.
This is an internal camera processed single image of a 90 consecutive 10sec exposures, over 15min using Olympus or OM System LiveComp feature. The camera compares the saved image and when a brighter pixel is on the new images it replaces the previous value. So ideal for long exposure photography where fixed bright lights stay the same brightness but moving lights leave a trail. So no PS work required as done in the camera. Disadvantage is if someone spoils one frame with a torch or car light, or kicks the tripod, then the sequence of images already rendered is ruined. If light painting not so bad but for a 3 hr or more star trail - ugly.
