Bruny Island, Tasmania, Australia

This Endangered, Endemic bird of Tasmania is one of Australia's rarest birds,
being confined to a few colonies in the south-east corner of Tasmania, mainly on Maria and Bruny Island.
These two islands contain about 99% of the species population.
The population is in decline since last century and now numbers less than 1,500 individuals.
