An annual event held in Parkes NSW over a 3 day weekend to celebrate Elis Presley. Held on a weekend closest to his birthday.

Part of the event is a send off from Sydney for event performers and spectators on Thursday morning on the Elvis Express. Departs from Sydney's Central station at 0830 and yes, it is a party train.

The Elvis impersonator at the front is a TV News & Current Affairs presenter for the 7 Network's Sunrise show. 9 Network's Today show had a number of segment cross's to the event with the performers and the fans from the Central station concourse
