The Father Nature N scale Baldwin Passenger Shark "foobie" resin shells were made expressly to fit on a standard Con-Cor N scale DL-109 mechanism. As this mechanism's wheelbase is unaltered, the model's wheelbase is shorter than the prototype. The shell scales out to about 74 feet for the A-unit (prototype is 80 feet) and 70 feet for B unit (prototype B unit is 78 feet). Thus, this model is a "reasonable approximation" in terms of fidelity.
