PAD Extra - Over & Out...

Harbour Hill above Bonaly Reservoir, Pentland Hills, Edinburgh view map

Folks, I'm bowing out of PADding for a while - life has a habit of getting in the way (in a good way I hasten to add) and I'm very disappointed that I just can't make the commitment to PAD for the foreseeable.
As you know, I haven't been commenting on your photos for several months, a situation which saddens me a great deal and one which I'd hoped to be able to rectify, but it hasn't worked out as I'd wanted it to.
Still, I've managed a five year PAD stretch so I'm content with that - I'm not giving up Pbase altogether but will instead perhaps do a photo every so often or maybe even a photo a week...we shall see!
In the meantime, I will dip in when I can and be in awe of your creativity and photographic skills...until then, it's au revoir, not adieu!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear this news, understandable though it is (life just gets so busy). I hope we will see more of your wonderful creative works at least weekly! Return soon! V

Nice to see you. That's a great photo of you. I did the PaD from 2008-2022 without missing a day. In my case I cite lack of interest by viewers and me as the reason I stopped. I am glad I did fifteen years is enough and I wanted to move on to other things which I have done. Hope to see you around. Happy New Year Doug.

Look forward to seeing you from time to time Doug...I ended my daily PAD a long time ago, but after 22 yrs can't end my time here as it's still the best. Happy 2025 to you and yours.

a fine broth of a man...time can always be problematic, depending on how you handle it..

Will miss your PAD photos - I was always impressed how you turned the ordinary into an impressive image.
Best of luck and Happy New Year.

Five years is a great stretch. I look forward to more of your excellent photos on your new schedule.
