Teotihuacan (~100 BCE and 800 CE)

Teotihuacan

One of my two must see places was the ruins of Teotihuacan.

It was amazing and informative of how early civilizations worked.
Used a guide service which I highly recommend.

The city of Teotihuacán covered 21 square miles and was laid out on an
astronomical grid system of 15.5 degrees east of true north.
The Egyptian pyramids were laid out on a simpler cardinal point grid (N-S-E-W).
