Arkell's Brewery was founded in Swindon in 1843 and remains fiercely independent and local to the Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Berkshire areas
I can personally attest to their Wilshire Gold, a lovely malty session ale at a modest but moreish 3.7% ABV
