Wikipedia has “Hirbemerdon Tepe is an archaeological site in Turkey located in the east of Diyarbakir Province, on the western bank of the Tigris River, 40 kilometers east of Bismil, Turkey.” A notice in the museum describes how religious pottery found there often was deliberately broken plaques with geometric motifs or human and animal figures. I do not have dates for the few items I took pictures of.
