Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center, along the west side of Mono Lake, accessed from Hwy 395. The light wasn't right to get
an image of the sign detailing what this boulder was (rhyolite, if I remember correctly), because it used raised black lettering on
a small plaque of black material. There were four different typical rocks; the 4th was a huge obsidian stone.
