Kalahari Desert, Namibia

The RO Cloud Complex's shape and view is so iconic, that its center details are simply often missed... I found that most. images of the whole complex lend little attention to the fine details of its center - and that was exactly where I was focusing my imaging and processing of this fine object.

I have therefore decided to publish this area in a "standalone" manner, which calls the viewer to focus particularly on these interesting area in the field: the hues, the lanes of dust - big and small- and the all so delicate details and misty glows that show up in and on the large dust lanes.

The only way to achieve that was to shun away from the "classic" silhouette of the full Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex, and show only those special areas rather zoomed in. Here they are for your (and my...) pleasure.
