Cherry Pond Sunrise

I was hoping for a dramatic sunrise breaking over the Presidential Range.
But, as is often the case, the relatively lofty peaks remained hidden in the clouds.
The early glow on the water was brief but beautiful, and well worth the early hike.
(6:40 AM - I forgot to turn off daylight savings time in camera)
