I'm delighted with my new mini painting by local artist Petra Berntsson - a belated birthday gift from my husband.
I love her artwork but don't have enough wall space (or money tbh) for her larger works so this is ideal.

I hadn't heard of her before but took a look at some of her work. (€2,000 for each of the larger pieces, I take your point.) The work is generally a worthy successor to impressionism but I note the Irish influence in the sense of the misty effect of the water laden air. Maybe not quite as much with this one as some others, but it's still there.
