1977 Beam Bottle lable

This bottle was manufactured in 1977
and the Jim Beam was 155 months
old when it was filled. I broke
the seal and emptied it!

@ The Other Ed...honestly going into the decanter when it did was the best thing for it. 60 years in the barrel would have either completely ruined the whiskey, or it would have all evaporated by now. If it's still unopened and you're looking to see what it's worth, https://revivalky.com/ - heard these guys on a podcast and they buy/sell Vintage bottles if they are unopened.

I had a Jim Beam outdoor series (shows a guy fly fishing) that was from my Grandfather basement bar. It was probably from the early 60s. We moved that bottle around for over 60 years and I just realized this year it was unopened. Unfortunately sitting in the bottle is not like sitting in the charcoal lined oak cask.
