We voted today. We went to the library but decided to not stop because there were hundreds of people in line. It should be noted that the library is a customary early polling place in this area. Back at home Ginny had a go at seeing what we could find out about local polling places. She found a site which listed all the polling places and the current length of the line. It turned out that at UHCL (University of Houston Clear Lake) which is right across the street the line was only five. We went over there and waltzed right in and cast our ballots. There were lots of positions on the ballot and you had to go through each one individually to vote. I miss the good old days when you could just vote a straight ticket and be done with it.
