I have mentioned many times recently that I continue to be impressed with the iPhone 15 Pro Max Camera. I decided to have a go at night photography and found out something interesting. The iPhone automatically uses "Night Mode" when the ambient light is low. Although the exposures are long (3 seconds) that really is a string of much shorter exposures which have been processed and stacked to make a bright detailed image. It works well. Another thing it does is very capably adjusts white balance. Today's photo is of the neighbor's house, mostly illuminated by a street lamp. You can look here to see what I got 18 years ago when I went out with my new Canon Rebel XT. Quite a difference.
