The Uña Lagoon is located in the municipality of Uña, a small town of just 100 inhabitants located in the Serranía de Cuenca, north of Cuenca capital.Let us remember that the Uña Lagoon is located within the Natural Park, which makes this site a must-see if we find it on the way to other natural environments. This beautiful lagoon receives its flow from the Arroyo del Rincón, a small tributary of the Júcar River. In fact, the lagoon increases its flow by means of an artificial channel, built to transport water to the hydroelectric power station that we find in Villalba de la Sierra. This water channel is about 15 kilometers long and is parallel to the flow of the Júcar River. The hydroelectric power station is located almost at the same height as the famous Ventano del Diablo viewpoint.
