We almost did not get to see this marvelous crater, indeed one of the most beautiful sites on Rapa Nui. It was not on our tour list (you have got to be kidding me!) and the only way I got to see it for 5 minutes was by signing up to watch the eclipse here. Fortunately, we went up on the bus and came back in a cab with Jas Madhhavan after dropping off equipment for Adi. We came back to image the eclipse from our hotel at the pool.
