More heavy rains forecast for Cambodia in next few days

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has issued a notification on weather conditions in Cambodia from October 9 to 11, 2024.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, lowland areas with rain, thunderstorms and gusts cover 65% of the area. The highlands cover 50% of the land and the coastal areas cover 20%.

Climate change is likely due to the northeast monsoon over the South China Sea beginning to have a strong impact as low pressure continues to cover the lower reaches of the Mekong River Basin and over the Kingdom of Cambodia.
