The altar of the Immaculate Conception is situated in the centre of this wall of the choir, containing in a niche the sculpture of the Virgin so called. The altarpiece of this 18th century altar, sheltered in a scallop-type arch, contains in its upper central part a small panel with the bust of Saint Francis of Assisi wearing the Franciscan habit with the hood over his head and his hands crossed resting on his chest and embracing a cross. Above this altar there is a medallion with the Pacheco coat of arms.
