All the time (though less often in the Giulia because it exceeds the speed limit more quickly)! I’ve never had either car to the dragstrip or measured their acceleration. Both are 4-cylinders, the Giulia 2.0L and the Spider 1.4L).
But what has Dave tested it at? Come on fess up you know you’ve put the pedal down. 😉
I don’t think I’ve got on any of my cars since the last mussel car I had in the 70s, a 67 Chevy Chevelle SS 396. From memory I replaced tires and clutch far too often. Now days I drive a 4 banger truck, it does have a turbo tho. Paul
The Giulia is faster. Motor Trend tested it at 13.8 seconds and 99 mph, and Car and Driver tested the Spider at 15.1 seconds and 91 mph. Both also handle and brake well and are a lot of fun to drive.
