Saint Servant.

Saint-Malo.

Un autre aspect de St-Malo.

Another part of Saint Malo out of the fortified walls.

So much better in original size.

Love the clarity and DOF that give me a good view of the city across the water.

PS: Today, in the Province of Quebec, all the car's licence plate bear the inscription ... Je me souviens ... a reference to that battle and Canada being abandoned by France.

Very beautiful shot of an historical place, since it was France's departure point to discover La Nouvelle France (Canada) during Louis XIV (Jacques Cartier discovered the new land, thinking he had reached India!). Sadly, Louis XIV refused to send the French military to protect the new land, England did send their Navy and conquered on the Plaines d'Abraham, in Quebec City ... and the birth of Canada as we know it today..
