Man arrested for rape of 86 year old woman

A depraved criminal has been arrested – accused of the rape of an 86 year old woman.

The man was arrested by the police of Santuk District to the Kampong Thom Provincial Police on the afternoon of September 26, 2024, in connection with a crime that took place at 14:05 on September 25, 2024 in Kirivoan village, Kor Koh commune, Santuk district, Kampong Thom province.

Police named the rapist as Pov Borey, 53 years old.

It appears that the man knew the woman and assaulted her upon finding her alone, burning charcoal.

The shocked woman told family members of her ordeal and her son reported it to authorities

The police of Santuk District Police Inspectorate arrested the rapist, interrogated him and built a case file and sent him to Kampong Thom Provincial Police Commissioner to handle the procedure.
