Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS (C/2023 A3) at Perihelion

At 6:08 this morning from the top of the hill at the Sunnyvale Baylands.

It made its closest approach to the sun as it rises above Mount Hamilton/Lick Observatory.

It disappeared 10 minutes later into the suns glare.
