Cuenca. Town Hall
The town hall closes the square maintaining access to it under its three characteristic arches. This strange type of gate and doorway is a challenge proposed to the architect Jaime Bort, which was beautifully and soundly solved. In a Baroque style from the era of Carlos III, on top of this characteristic arcade, two more figures in a Rococo decoration are erected. Their beauty presides a square that mains tranquillity and tradition amongst the light that drenches its coloured façades.
