The small tables are all empty. Is there no one around to hear the music? By the expression on his face, the musician is happy playing his accordion for the black cat. Voted.
One doesn't have to be a music lover or a cat lover to fall in love with this image. The contentment and affection in the man's smile, and the stern expression in the cat's eyes, showing how loyal and protective he is to his owner, can easily touch the heart of every viewer. The man and the cat, they share their life with each other, in Paris. ~V~
A humorous candid that evokes a happy lighthearted and welcoming mood. Great street capture that seems to convey the spirit of the place perfectly. We all need to slow down and listen to the music. VVV
Who wouldn't love this photo! Wonderful expression captured on the musician's face as he plays and looks at the cat. I have a framed print of that bag hanging in my house. V
Wonderful candid shot of a street performer in Montmarte, great place to spend a lazy afternoon watching the world go by ... I can't hear how well he could play the accordion, but I can see he certainly had the marketing skills and all the right props ... complete with a black cat on the accordion and that bag with the iconic 'Le Chat Noir' poster remindful of the famed cabaret. Love the lighting, composition, colours, subjects and festive atmosphere of the image. VV
You always have the gift of setting scenes that prolong a vision of Paris that seems timeless! (the accordion player, the calligraphy of the sign indicating the choice of drinks, "Le Chat Noir")all this seems to come from the time of the impressionists. A brilliant shot, and not only for the light !
