Our objective today was to hike to the Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House. Sounds idyllic, right? It was raining, but we had proper clothing and boots. The one way trip was 3.3 miles with a 1125 foot elevation gain. It was difficult for me. I was hurting by the end of it. We got back to the hotel, cleaned up and went out for a photo in front of the lake. It was in the same spot as the photo from our 1989 Christmas letter. The wall was no longer there. The people from Rocky Mountaineer gave us a bottle of Blue Nun sparkling wine with suspended gold flakes. We had no problem polishing it off before crashing into bed.
