Off train excursions on each of the days gave a choice.
Day one was at at Katherine and we chose the boat excursion on The Gorge, a spectacular sight despite a huge amount of rain during the weeks before, causing the river to rise far higher than usual and reducing the sheer height of the incredible rock faces.
