Big Boy steam locomotive barrelling eastward through Malta

25 Big Boy steam engines were manufactured and saw service during
the end of the steam era from 1941 to 1944. They were one of the
world's largest and most powerful steam locomotives ever constructed.

The engine and tender (containing water and fuel)
combined weight was 604 tons, top speed was 70 mph.
